Configuration Station is broken down into 3 sections: Configuration Types, Checklist, and Review.
Configuration Types
Configuration Types allow you to specify which configuration types and attributes you wish to flag as required. This information will then be used to generate your Configuration Checklist.
Set Up:
Step 1
Click the Configuration Type and/or attributes you want to specify as required. For example, you may want all Managed Workstations to have their Serial # populated.
Step 2
Assign a Review Cycle to periodically verify configuration accuracy. Selecting ‘Once’ mandates an initial review for each configuration type without future reviews.
Step 3
Under the Company Types and Agreement Types steps, you can choose which companies you wish to apply these requirements. For example, you may want to limit requiring the VOIP Configuration Type to only companies who have a VOIP Agreement.
Configuration Checklist
The Configuration Checklist will build a report of your client’s configs based on the information selected under Manage Configuration Types.
Set Up:
Step 1
After completing the Manage Configuration Types, open the Configuration Checklist. OPEN
Step 2
The Configuration Checklist will show the companies that match your Manage Configuration Type settings along with their score.
Step 3
You can click on the values presented in the Checklist to drill down further into the individual config types and full configurations.
Step 4
Any changes made to the configuration will automatically be applied to your ConnectWise instance

Step 6
For each element, you can click on the “+ Add Review Instructions” to add specific instructions for your reviewer to follow during the review process.
Step 7
Once all the tasks have been checked off, you can move the ticket to Completed. MTX will create a time entry for your work and record the elements you marked as approved or not applicable.
